SEL

Comedy and dance are a great way to build community. These workshops get students connecting through movement games, theatrical hijinks and a mock game of Dancify That! Great to break the ice or to deepen connection among student communities. More info here.

Literacy

Our actor workshops focus on getting participants out of their heads and into their bodies. We use a variety of physical theater and clowning exercises to expand gestures into dance, increase physical awareness on stage, and parody competition.

Physical Education

Every kid loves to move.

Our facilitators have years of experience making dance, performances and have dozens of tools to get your kids moving.

45 minute workshops. Performances with professional dancers. Residencies with culminating performances.

Use symbols as directive tools with kids. Have them name moves. Think of transitions to make it all a thing.

“The students love this workshop and the participation grows every year. The focus on play and good natured competition helps build community, and gives students an outlet to make bold choices in a safe space. The spirit of fun, and need to commit quickly and wholeheartedly has lead to daring performances by even the most self-conscious students. I have clearly witnessed the students’ confidence grow with their participation in Dancify That.”
